Facebook HomeThis day finds me relaxed and satisfied. The sun is shining in the sky. Having accomplished a good deal on my book, I've taken this holiday weekend off. I'm spending it with family and friends.
Labor Day...a time to reflect upon all of the contributions to our society and world made by hardworking folks. On this Labor Day, I find my son in his first year of college. How proud I am ! I am also relieved! It seems only yesterday I was walking hime to kindergarten...Time flies!
My hometown is quiet, today. Save the sound of a distant powersaw, there is no noise coming from outdoors. Next to me, a floor fan whirs as it blows cool air upon my legs.
